Arcads adds instant gestures to its AI avatars
Arcads just launched Gestures, letting creators prompt unlimited emotions and movements for their AI avatars. Users can simply pick an avatar and type an emotion to instantly generate dynamic video hooks, solving the stiff-puppet problem that plagues many AI video ads. It is now live for all Arcads users.

Anyone who has experimented with AI video knows the biggest dead giveaway isn't always the lip sync—it's the mannequin effect, where avatars stand completely still and recite lines with zero body language.
Arcads is aiming to fix that stiff awkwardness with a new feature called "gestures." Founder Quentin Peccoux announced the tool after months in stealth, describing it as the "Cursor of gestures."
From wooden heads to real emotions
The workflow is stripped down to the bare minimum. You pick an AI avatar, prompt the emotion you want, and generate a dynamic hook for your video. Peccoux pitches it as a simple formula: one prompt yields unlimited emotional reactions. The feature is already live for all Arcads users.
Why it matters
For performance marketers and creator brands, the first three seconds of a video make or break ad conversion. Flat AI talking heads produce cheap content, but they usually fail to stop the scroll because they lack human energy.
Arcads is smart to wrap expressive movement into natural language prompts instead of making creators mess around with timelines or 3D rigging. It turns avatar generation into a quick trial-and-error loop. That said, we think the real challenge will be consistency. If the gestures end up looking unnatural or glitching out, marketers will quickly realize viewers can spot artificial hype just as easily as robotic silence.
