AI Trump and Biden are stuck in an endless Twitch debate
Anonymous creators just launched an infinite Twitch stream pitting AI versions of Donald Trump and Joe Biden against each other in a never-ending debate. The bots mimic voices, facial gestures, and banter while trading unhinged insults and roasting chat users. Over 100,000 viewers tuned in, showing how entertaining—and chaotic—real-time AI impersonation has become.
Two familiar political figures standing at podiums, arguing without a break. But instead of the national budget, they are suddenly trading barbs about catgirls and roasting people in the chat for having terrible usernames.
An anonymous group of AI researchers launched a Twitch stream called trumporbiden2024. The channel pits fully autonomous AI avatars of Donald Trump and Joe Biden against each other in an infinite, unscripted debate.
Within 24 hours, the stream went viral, drawing over 100,000 viewers eager to see how off-the-rails political discourse could get when bots run the show.
Deepfakes running on raw chaos
The creators claim the project was built strictly for fun rather than political manipulation. The setup fed both models identical context and let them bounce off each other continuously.
The technical execution caught viewers off guard. The bots mimic both candidates' vocal inflections, typical cadences, and distinct quirks. They even take visual cues from one another, reacting with facial expressions and hand gestures like genuine debate participants.
Yet the dialogue constantly slips into pure absurdity. Between serious-sounding talking points, the pair veered into the meaning of life and bizarre, crude insults. In one viral exchange, AI Trump accused AI Biden of playing with a cock goblin class in role-playing games, while AI Biden shot back with a raw insult about Trump's anatomy and inability to construct a coherent sentence.
To top it off, the bots actively read the Twitch chat, directly mocking viewers' usernames and belittling undecided voters.
Why it matters
This stream offers a wild look at the emerging frontier of infinite, autonomous interactive entertainment. By chaining together low-latency voice cloning, LLMs, and real-time avatars, a small group created an endless entertainment loop that runs 24/7 with zero human intervention.
For creators and game developers, this is a live demo of dynamic NPC behavior and self-sustaining interactive streaming. If you can make two former presidents roast chatters seamlessly, you can power interactive characters in games and digital hangouts at scale.
However, we think the stream also flags a glaring regulatory headache for platforms like Twitch. The voices are convincingly accurate, and while the dialogue here is far too absurd to deceive anyone, the tech pipeline is already in place. It will only take minor guardrail adjustments for bad actors to spin up realistic, deceptive deepfake streams during sensitive political seasons.
