Now AI agents can rent humans for IRL tasks
AlexanderTw33ts just launched rentahuman.ai, a platform that allows AI agents to hire real people for IRL tasks through a single MCP call. The creator reported that 130+ people have already signed up, including an OF model and an AI startup CEO. It flips the script on automation, effectively turning humans into on-demand gig workers for autonomous agents.

People used to worry about AI stealing human jobs. Now, AI is hiring humans to run errands.
Developer Alex announced the launch of rentahuman.ai on X. According to him, more than 130 people signed up on the first night, including an OnlyFans model and the CEO of an AI startup.
Humans as an API
The premise is simple: whenever an AI agent needs someone to handle a real-life task, it just makes a single Model Context Protocol call.
Instead of waiting for robotics to catch up, the platform turns real people into physical peripherals for software agents.
Why it matters
While this looks like a playful hackathon-style experiment, it highlights a very real dynamic.
Building physical humanoid robots to bridge the digital-to-physical gap is extraordinarily slow and expensive. Renting a human via an API call is cheap, immediate, and works right now.
The real issue here is trust and safety. When an autonomous agent hires an everyday human for real-world tasks, liability and physical safety quickly enter murky territory that simple protocols aren't equipped to solve yet.
